If you saw Thursday’s results show, you know that “Idol” lost audio for a few seconds after Tyler Grady was eliminated. Since I had heard some buzzing just before that, I presumed it was a technical glitch…

But according to EW.com, the audio was dropped to cover Alex Lambert’s “language” after he was told he was safe.

After all these years, it was bound to happen sometime…
